Whats involved in an embodiment shoot?

It starts with a dm or an email, we decide where you will be most comfortable to shoot. Once we have decided on where, we choose a date. When we arrive for your embodiment session we spend the first 15 mins just chatting, getting comfy. Then you start to have some photos taken at this point you might have underwear on, or a piece of fabric draped about you. I give lots of direction, put your hands here, tilt your head like so. And as we go I’ll show you the images we are making.

If we are shooting in Nature, the sand dunes north of Stockton, your house in Tighes Hill or Newcastle or Merewether, a hidden beach near Dudley a quiet spot in redhead or a studio in Bennetts Green, I’ll always have with me a robe to pass to your if needs be. And once you are ready and feeling your full self if you choose to you can get Nude in Nature.

I create beautiful images, yes. But there is more to it than that. I hold space for you to be your whole self. I am bearing witness to you and the season you are in. The images I make are intimate and personal to you. Honouring you and all the power and joy and love within you.
