Booking a photographer for your website photos
What happens on a website shoot? Who has to have photos?
Hi if you are here you’ve probably been told by someone that you need website photos. “Ugh” you are probably thinking “I Hate photos of myself”, or “Its yet another thing to organise”, and “no one on my team will want their photo taken” . And truly I get it. Putting yourself in front of the camera can feel awful and confronting.
Most of my job is helping people relax and have fun in front of the camera. And if that feels like to much of a stretch I can organise models so that your shoot is truly representative of the business you have or are building. Moving beyond stock photography. Here are some words from clients so you can get an idea of what role I feel is the most important
Who has to have photos?
Nobody has to have photos. HOWEVER having photos of you and your staff adds an element of trust to clients who are looking at your business wondering if this is the place they want to spend their money. in this world of AI and stock photography I know I personally am much more likely to buy from a business that has photos of the people I am going to be working with.
So what happens on a website shoot, first we organise a date, then we have a chat about what you need, What your business is? and what vibe you are after, then on the day I show up, we start chatting I start joking and we try a bunch of poses until we find ones we like. I’ll show you images on my camera that are working or that I love and then we get to have some fun in the flow. If you don’t need to be in the photos I will make my way around the space shooting what will show off the best bits of your business. Spaces, people all of it.
Who needs models, from fashion to hair shoots, to businesses where no one what to get in front of the lens. I can find models for your business. All types of models. Who know how to make the shoot work and usually who Ive worked with before. Models are an extra cost but sometimes they are just what you need. To show your products or your service.
